Mission Statement

The IANM serves to qualify, examine, and board certify the chiropractic neuromusculoskeletal medicine specialist who focuses on the evaluation and management of patients suffering from pain syndromes and neuromusculoskeletal conditions. 

Descriptively, the board-certified chiropractic neuromusculoskeletal medicine specialist will focus on diagnosis and management of conditions involving nerves, muscles, soft tissues, and bones from a primary structural and/or functional perspective. The board-certified chiropractic neuromusculoskeletal medicine specialist may utilize patient-centered, evidence-based and outcome-driven treatment strategies which could include but may not be limited to: spinal and extremity manipulative therapy, and a wide array of physical medicine and non-surgical procedures to achieve optimal outcomes.
